IF YOU STILL DON'T FIND WHAT YOU WANT, THEN YOU CAN POST IN ONE OF THE GENRE TOPICS (ex. 'Orchestral', 'Ambient: Horror' or 'Techno'... if a genre isn't there, then you can make a new topic with the name of the genre as the thread name).
Q: Can I use this music however I want?
A: As long as it's for non-commercial use, Yes, just so long as you give credit to the artist who created the music. Credit information (and recommended format) is listed within the composer thread (listed above).
Q: How long will it take for my music to be ready?
A: It depends. Since we are creating something entirely original, sometimes the composers will be less inspired to create music at certain times. Please be patient for many of us are very busy as it is. On another note, having footage to accompany your request, or a even a script, will speed up our response time greatly.
Although having footage isn't necessary it does help us better match the score to your films.
Q: Do you get paid for this?
A: No.
Q: Why is this better than using copyrighted music in my film?
A: It's simple economics. To attain rights for music costs money, royalty free music has limits. You can get custom made scores for any project you want* and not have to fund a big time Hollywood composer's cocaine habit. Also most composers at the FFMP offer a collection of pre-made pieces for your choosing.
Q: Can you make fast paced music for an action movie?
A: You really can't find anything here?
